In Class assignment #8

So I get a phone call at 2am that a 12 year old girl with blonde hair has gone missing from her Chicago home. The last time her parents saw her was earlier that day playing in the front yard with her toys. Her parents were nowhere to be found when this happened and has no clue on who would do this to their child. The police have searched high and low for the young girl but nothing has come up. Around 8 o’clock the police are alerted that a customer in a nearby Wal-Mart parking lot that there seems to be something fishy going on. She says she hears arguing and the crying of a small child. The police arrived on the scene and the suspects from the car flee, but before they do they hear a gunshot. The police immediately rush over to the car to see what is going on. To their sadness they see the missing 12 year old girl bleeding and shot to death.

Coroner:
I am very saddened to see this young girl today. She was apparently drugged and rapped before she was murdered. She had multiple bruises on her face and arms from trying to fight back against her attackers. She was shot in neck which pierced through her shoulder. The bullet is still dodged in her.

Prosecutor:
I have here with me today the parents of the young girl, and they are trying to receive justice for their daughter death. I have a young daughter so I can understand the pain they must feel. This family is very poor so they would have no way of pay me. I decide to take the cases pro bono. I will not charge them anything. I have learned that the suspects were never found. I promise the family that I will do all I can to make sure they receive justice.

2 years later they were caught!
