In class writing assignment #3

“How I Met Your Mother”

I actually liked the show at first. I was kind of skeptical but it was kind of good. It showed basically how as time goes on how your outlook on life starts to change or doesn’t change at all. Two of the characters on the show went to college for their career choice, but they couldn’t understand one of the assigned subjects in school. Instead of study or at least trying comprehend, they decided to watch star wars to escape the problems they were having in school and to pass time. From that day on they made a pact within themselves that they would watch Star Wars every three years. As the years came and went, they noticed that what they wanted to be in life changed. One guy wanted to be married and pregnant with a child on the way. The other wanted a family he could call his own. Another guy remained the same he wanted to continue on with what he was doing, which was having sex with women then never seeing them again. By 2015, they all realized that they had really gotten what they wanted, so they became happy with their lives. It took fifteen years for them to really get out of life what they wanted and mature. The womanizer even settled down and found one girl he pledged to spend the rest of his life with, and refrain from any other women that would come into his life. Overall it was a lesson learner for all of them.
